If you have spent years wiring houses, welding gates, running a kitchen or fixing phones, that competence is real whether or not anyone wrote it down. Recognition of Prior Learning turns it into a qualification.
Practical assessment, not a paper chase
You are assessed doing the work: a task, a workshop, an assessor with a checklist drawn from the same outcomes every enrolled learner meets.
Competence is credited
Whatever you demonstrate is credited against the qualification. You then complete only what remains, which for experienced artisans is often a single semester of theory and the AI and Digital Practice Spine.
Free at first attempt
Throughout the pilot years the first RPL assessment carries no fee. Cost is not allowed to stand between a skilled person and a recognised qualification.
Dignity, not small print
