Four intakes a year, and the dates that decide each one

January, April, July and October. This page publishes which credentials admit in each intake, the sequence of dates inside it, and the rules that hold whatever the calendar says.

Why the dates read "Confirmed with the accreditation wave"

Application and teaching dates are fixed against the first accreditation wave and the confirmed cooperative-education placement capacity for each cohort. Publishing a date before both are signed off would mean correcting it later, so the sequence is published now and each date is filled in as it is confirmed. The structure below does not change.

Intakes

Which credential admits when

A term is six months and a block is four weeks, which is why the two pathways do not share entry points.

The founding intake. The twelve first-wave programmes are the only degrees accepting applications.

Admits

  • Bachelor's degrees, Path One (Term Model)
  • Bachelor's degrees, Path Two (Block Model)
  • Higher Education Certificate, all three tracks
  • Forward College certificates and diplomas

Calendar rules

Five rules that hold whatever the dates are

These govern the calendar, so you can plan against them before a single date is confirmed.

An intake closes on capacity, not only on a date

Because the twelve-month placement is compulsory, no cohort is admitted larger than the confirmed placement capacity for that intake. When capacity is reached, applications close early and the next intake opens.

Every applicant gets a dated answer

Decisions for an intake are issued inside one published window. If your profile is a near miss, the answer is a Bridge referral with its own dates, never a dead decline.

Fees are published before applications open

The fee schedule for an intake goes live on the same day the application form does, so no applicant accepts an offer without the cost in front of them.

Term Model and Block Model do not share entry points

A term is six months, so the Term Model admits twice a year. A block is four weeks, so the Block Model admits four times a year.

Results still pending is not a reason to wait a year

Applicants awaiting a UNEB release can apply to the next intake and be assessed conditionally, or be referred to the Higher Education Certificate if the result lands as a near miss.

Next

Costs, funding, or straight to the application

Awards are assessed alongside your application, so applying early is how you keep every funding option open.
