Nine posts, not one overloaded lecturer.

This is the academic establishment as it is actually being built, with the standard each post is hired against and its real status. Named profiles publish here as appointments are signed.

Individual staff profiles publish here as appointments are signed. Forward will not list photographs and biographies of people who are not employed, and will not describe an unappointed post as filled.

Four sides of the model

Coaching, judging, design and oversight are separate jobs.

Forward splits the six jobs traditionally stacked on one academic, so nobody has to coach you and judge you at the same time.

Coaching side

Posts whose job is to get you through: mentoring, teaching, placement.

Judging side

Posts that decide whether the evidence meets the standard. Separated from coaching by rule.

Design side

Posts that build the unit, the rubric and the supervised AI, then hand it over.

Oversight

Posts that answer for quality, staffing and independence.

Questions

Who teaches, who marks, answered.

Who will teach me at Forward University?
Nine separate posts, not one overloaded lecturer. A Programme Mentor owns your progress, Course Instructors answer subject questions within one working day, independent Evaluators mark your evidence against a published rubric, and a Practice Tutor carries your twelve-month paid placement.
Why are there no individual staff profiles yet?
Because the founding intake has not started and most appointments are still in recruitment. Each post is published with its hiring standard, its student-facing promise and its real status, and named profiles appear here on the day an appointment is signed.
Will the person who teaches me also mark me?
No. Teaching and marking are separated by rule: Course Instructors never mark their own students, and Evaluators mark evidence against the published rubric only. The quality assurance officer audits that separation every assessment window.
Does AI teach the courses?
No. Mwalimu explains, drills and scores practice attempts at any hour, under a named AI Learning Systems Lead and the AI Oversight Board. Every decision that counts, including every mark, is issued by a human.
