Programme Learning Outcomes

What you will be able to do

Each outcome is assessed, and each is tagged with the Forward capabilities it is verified against.

  1. PLO 1Explain the physical climate system and interpret model output at decision relevant scale.
  2. PLO 2Measure, report and verify greenhouse gas emissions and removals to recognised standards.
  3. PLO 3Quantify climate risk for a physical asset, a portfolio or a district and express it financially.
  4. PLO 4Structure, appraise and audit a carbon market transaction including integrity and permanence risks.
  5. PLO 5Apply machine learning to climate, agricultural and disaster risk data.
  6. PLO 6Design and cost an adaptation plan with a community and defend it to a funder.
  7. PLO 7Assess the equity, land tenure and benefit sharing consequences of climate interventions.
